Laboratory Management Standards (Trial)
To ensure the safety of platform equipment, property, and the normal operation of teaching and research activities, the Bioinspired Engineering Central Laboratory (BIO-IERF) carries out daily work in accordance with the following management standards.

1. All personnel entering the laboratory must comply with the relevant rules and regulations of the laboratory.
2. Laboratory instruments and equipment are open to all research laboratories on campus and open to the public.
3. The laboratory implements a training and assessment system, and is open to campus users who have obtained access control qualifications according to the instrument reservation time period. Users who have obtained laboratory access authorization are strictly prohibited from lending their campus cards to others for use.
4. Personnel unrelated to the experiment shall not be brought into the laboratory.
5. Experimental personnel should keep the laboratory tidy, clean, fireproof, and anti-theft to ensure the safety of instruments and equipment.
6.Eating and smoking are prohibited in the laboratory.
7. Strictly follow the safety warning signs in the laboratory.
8. Laboratory instruments must be trained and assessed to be qualified before operation, and must strictly follow the conventional operating procedures of the instruments. Those who have not been assessed are strictly prohibited from touching or using the instruments. It is strictly prohibited to perform operations that are not specified in the standard operating procedures without permission. Unauthorized modification of instrument hardware and software settings, use of non specified components, or operation of instruments with safety devices removed are strictly prohibited.
9. When using large laboratory equipment, two or more trained and qualified personnel must be present throughout the entire process.
10. The laboratory is equipped with large-scale scientific research equipment, and users with independent computer operation qualifications are required to use the reservation system and log in using their own account. Other personnel are strictly prohibited from using the instrument during non reservation periods. During the use of the instrument, the user assumes safety responsibility.
11. It is strictly prohibited for any unauthorized personnel to enter or use laboratory equipment, including but not limited to using someone else's student card or QR code, or being brought in by authorized personnel.
12. Unconventional experimental testing can only be carried out with the consent and guidance of the equipment manager.
13. Our laboratory currently does not provide sample delivery services.
14. Strictly abide by the school's rules and regulations, and after the test is completed, classify and recycle reagents, utensils, sharp tools, etc. Garbage and waste liquid must be strictly classified according to the labeling, ensuring complete and clear labeling, and disposed of according to school regulations.
15. The instrument must strictly comply with electrical safety regulations, and it is strictly prohibited to change the circuit or cut off the power supply of the instrument without authorization.
16.Before using chemical reagents or drugs, it is necessary to understand their physical and chemical properties, toxicity, and protective methods. Personal precautions must be taken when using them. It is strictly prohibited to bring chemicals into the laboratory without permission.
17. For security reasons, conducting experiments late at night (23:00 to 8:00 the next day) is prohibited; During the experimental operation, it is strictly prohibited to operate on other laboratory instruments or frequently walk around the laboratory.
18. The temporary opening hours of the office area are from 8:00 to 24:00; Unless necessary, access to the office area is prohibited from 0:00 to 8:00.
19.If any abnormal conditions are found in the instrument, equipment or infrastructure during the experiment, timely feedback must be given to the person in charge of the instrument or laboratory. It is strictly prohibited to handle or adjust the main components of the instrument without authorization. Anyone who disassembles it on their own will be severely punished once discovered.
20.To maintain the temperature and humidity inside the laboratory, keep the laboratory doors and windows closed. After the experiment, organize the relevant areas of the experiment and keep good records of the experiment. Before leaving the laboratory, it is necessary to check the safety of water, electricity, doors and windows, etc.
21. Unify the data transmission and download methods specified by the platform, and it is strictly prohibited to use external storage devices such as USB and portable hard drives to connect to computers and copy data without permission; It is strictly prohibited to browse, view, or download other people's files, materials, data, and items (except those authorized by the school); Unauthorized modification of computers, installation of software, etc. is strictly prohibited; Unauthorized access to the network is strictly prohibited; Unauthorized use of remote control software is strictly prohibited.
22. In case of liability accidents caused by violation of rules, the user and their unit/research group shall be held responsible (those who violate the rules shall be given a warning and punishment; those who violate the rules and cause losses shall stop using the computer and compensate; those who cause significant losses shall have their qualification to use the computer cancelled, criticized and compensated).
23. If the instrument malfunctions or is damaged due to human factors, the supervisor's research group shall bear the relevant maintenance costs.
24. In case of accidents caused by violation of laboratory safety management regulations, the user and their unit/research group shall be held responsible.
25. Those who violate the rules in a particularly serious manner will be reported to the school and the academic affairs office, and the school will impose corresponding penalties.
26. In the event of any behavior involving instruments or equipment that is not explicitly stated in this specification, the interpretation and execution rights belong to the Central Laboratory of Bioinspired Engineering.
